Tutorial on Product CSV Import & Export •
The CSV Import and Export feature allows you to bulk edit your products efficiently by downloading product data, making changes in a spreadsheet, and uploading it back to your store.
In this article, you may find:
CSV Import
You can either access it through the dashboard of the app:

Or through sidebar menu on the left side of the app:

1. Choose Action
Choose the appropriate option in Step 1 of the CSV Import tool. Select whether you want to:
- Edit existing products and variants
- Add new products and variants
- Add new variants to existing products

2. Upload Your Spreadsheet
You can upload your file using one of the following methods:
- From your device's Spreadsheet File
- Via a direct Spreadsheet URL
- Via FTP Location

If you are submitting via spreadsheet URL, you will need to ensure that the URL provided points directly to the sheet. If you are uploading a sheet from Google Sheets, we have a short guide on how to do that, which you can find here.
If you are submitting via FTP location, you will need to ensure that you are using this format:
ftp://user:password@your.ftp-server.com/path/to/file.xlsx
Once you have everything set, you can click the "upload" button to proceed.
Note: Please note that the only accepted file formats for this function are CSV and XLSX files. Any other file formats are not accepted in our app.
3. Map the Columns
Once the sheet is uploaded, you can begin to map the columns.
Example:
- Column 1 → Product Title
- Column 2 → Variant Price
-
Column 3 → Variant SKU
In my task below, the product title is in column 1. I am using the product title as the field that the app should search by, so I have mapped the title to column 1. The price and the SKU are in columns 2 and 3 respectively, so I have also mapped them to their corresponding columns in the app.

Once you have finished the mapping, you can then click the Start CSV Import Now button at the bottom of the page.
Tip: Use SKU or Product ID for more accurate matching
Optional: Avoid Duplication
If you are adding new products and variants, you may notice an "Avoid duplication" checkbox next to some fields. We have a short guide on this function, which you can find here.

Optional: Secondary Column for searching
If you are trying to edit existing products and variants, you may notice this option on the column section for searching. When enabled, each row in your spreadsheet will be matched using two columns instead of one. The secondary column acts as an additional filter to narrow down the results found by the primary column.

For example, I used my first 2 columns as column identifiers for better matching results when importing:

Important Notes for Import
- Do not remove required columns
- Ensure values are formatted correctly
- Test with a small file before full import
- Always export a backup before making large changes
CSV Exporting
Same as CSV Import, you can either access it through the dashboard of the app:

Or through sidebar menu on the left side of the app:

1. Set up the product filter
Use filters to select which products you want to export. Our app has many fields that you can filter from, which can help you narrow down the products that you would like our app to edit. Our app also comes with a preview function to confirm selection before exporting.

2. Choose the fields to export
Select the product fields you want included in the file.
Take Note:
- Product ID is always included
- If variant fields are selected, Variant ID is also included

Optional: Export Settings
You can adjust the export settings using the fields below. You can control the file name and file format of the exported file, as well as email the file or upload it to an FTP server by providing the appropriate details.

Once everything is set up, you can click the Start CSV Export Now button to begin the export.
Once the export finishes, you can download the exported file by clicking on the "Exported File" section in the CSV Export task menu.
