Tutorials on Editing Product Type & Category field (BPE)

This function will allow you to change the Product Taxonomy Category to a specific ID or Product Type to a custom value. You can edit the fields with the following steps:

1. Set up the product filter

The first step to setting up a bulk edit is to set up the filters. Our app has many fields that you can filter from, which can help you narrow down the products that you would like our app to edit. Our app also comes with a preview function, so that you can verify if the products found are correct.

2. Select the field to edit

You can either choose to update the taxonomy category, or the product type. The taxonomy category requires that you provide the ID of the category you are looking to mark the product as. We have a guide on how to find the correct ID, which you can find here. The product type is a custom field, and will accept any text.

After setting up the task, you can run the task by clicking on the "Start Bulk Edit now" button.
