Why is there a difference between the number of matched and edited products?( BPE)

A possible reason that there is a difference between the number of matched and edited products could be that some products are already at the desired value.

For example, in the task below, some products are already at the price 24.75, so they would be unchanged by the task, leading to the task matching 3 products, but only editing 1.

Another reason could be that the products do not contain the field that is being edited. For example, if there was a task to edit the compared price of products, the app would skip over any products that do not have compared prices set, which may result in a difference between the number matched and edited products.
