Getting Started With Bulk Product Edit (BPE)

Welcome to Bulk Product Edit!

Bulk Product Edit allows you to quickly bulk edit your products, collections. customers, and orders in a few clicks. Our app can save you hours of time automating your tasks, so that you can focus on other aspects of your store.

Bulk Editing Basics

Please note that the free demo plan for our app only allows for 10 products to be edited in a single task. If a task would edit more than 10 products, it will be stopped at 10 products, and be marked as a PARTIAL FINISH.

1. Select the field that you would like to edit

2. Set up the product filter

The first step to setting up a bulk edit is to set up the filters. Our app has many fields that you can filter from, which can help you narrow down the products that you would like our app to edit. Our app also comes with a preview function, so that you can verify if the products found are correct.

Optional Step: Set up the variant filters

If you would like to only bulk edit specific variants, such as only editing the Red variants, you can use our optional step to do so. Similar to our first step, there is a dropdown with numerous fields that you can use to select the variants to edit.

If you are looking to edit all variants, or if your products do not have any variants, you can skip this step.

3. Choose how to edit the products

The next step would be to choose how you want to edit the products. The options available will change depending on the field that you selected in Step 1. For example, in the video below, I am setting up a task to decrease the price of my products by 15%

4. Click "Start Bulk Edit Now"

Afterwards, your task will be queued on our servers and run in a few minutes. After the task is finished, you will then be able to see the changes on your Shopify Admin.

What if I need to undo a task?

If at any point, you would like to undo a change that our app makes, you can do so under the "Bulk Edit Tasks" menu.

Please note that when a task reverts, the app will use the value that was in the field before the task was run. For example, if you had run a bulk edit to discount your products from $20 to $15, reverting the task will change the price of those products back to $20, even if the price has been changed again since the task was run.

But wait! There's more!

Our app also supports editing products using CSV import. You can find our guides on CSV importing by clicking here

If you prefer a video guide, we also have a short introductory video on our Bulk Product Edit app, which also includes some sample tasks.
